Qualifications

DEM takes pride in providing top level personnel at every stage of the construction process.  In addition to being registered by the State of California, every member on our professional staff maintains active membership within his/her respective field.  Our support staff of inspectors, soil technicians, materials technicians, environmental technicians, laboratory technicians, and specialty consultants are certified through one or more certifying agencies such as the International Code Council (ICC) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).  In addition to being certified through many national agencies, our team also maintains local certification through the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) through their district 11 certification program, and the City of San Diego through their development services department.  A list of the accreditations and certifications that DEM's laboratory facility and the DEM staff hold are as follows:
